What to expect when visiting All Saints'
The easiest way to see if All Saints’ is the church for you is to visit us!
There are three weekly services at All Saints'. We worship on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. with a traditional service and no music, and 10:00 a.m. with more contemporary worship featuring music and traditional hymns. We offer a Wednesday Night Healing Service at 7:00 pm, followed by Bible Study at 7:35.
During the 10:00 am service (except some holidays), we offer a children’s ministry to kids ages 6-14. Here’s how it works: you come to church as a family a little before 10:00 a.m.. We sing a hymn. Then immediately after the hymn, the kids are invited to participate in the Children’s ministry and lead out. They return after the sermon and some of the prayers so that we all take communion as a collected family. The 10:00 am service also provides childcare for children up to 4 years of age.
Our service is about an hour long. Then we all go over to the parish hall for fellowship time (coffee and food).
Dress ranges: some people wear suits and dresses; others wear Saints jerseys and jeans. I like this rule of thumb: Jesus invited people to “come as you are,” so we invite you to come as YOU are, too.
You may certainly bring a Bible with you, but we provide the weekly readings and all other worship materials to everyone.
We collect a donation each week to support the kingdom of God in River Ridge, Louisiana and the world, but if you are visiting with us, you can leave your checkbook at home.
We can’t wait to meet you!
